Strategy Internship

Overview.

There are many shapes of strategy.

At Matter Of Form, we fundamentally strive to deliver next-generation customer experiences that go beyond websites and apps. We typically work for those who value their brand above all else (organisations with high-end customers).

Our USP is in marrying classical brand strategy with a deep digital delivery expertise - we get that user-centric design must be balanced with bold creative thinking. Our clients value this sensitivity.

We do not believe in branding or digital, rather in moments of delight, moments of service, and comments of commerce.

Our belief is that increasingly the brand experience is the brand.

Our future engagements will likely begin with brand repositioning and move into experience delivery, content planning and in some cases digital product design.

We are looking for an ambitious intern to join our Strategy team for two weeks as part of the MOF Insight Programme for National Careers Week. No prior experience is required - just raw passion for creativity and design.

You’ll have the chance to

  • Creative Thinking & Brand Strategy Support - writing brand manifestos, taglines, tone of voice and bringing to life with examples, producing creative thought starters for comms, assisting with naming, and in time helping with brand strategies

  • Desk Research - market research and analysis, conducting competitor reviews, assimilating insights from client research documents

  • Supporting Primary Research - note taking during interviews/focus groups/ethnography etc, conducting store visits and mystery shopping

  • Supporting Workshops - assisting with logistics, note taking, running brainstorming exercises and assisting breakout groups

  • Learning - (as important as the above) be responsible for pushing their own L&D - expectation to attend Experience Haus, Firestarters, Group Think, APG, AD&D etc. Read, practice, network etc.

Duration.

The unpaid internship (expenses covered) will begin on Monday 16th August 2021 ending on Friday 27th August 2021.
